Kristof De Bock introduces "Planck," a distinctive coffee table designed to challenge traditional norms. Crafted from plywood in a unique bonding method, "Planck" offers a robust yet elegant appearance, featuring a 2-level design with reduced thickness, made possible by the material's strength.
The table, measuring 75cm in width, 46cm in depth, and 30cm in height, is meticulously crafted using polish pine plywood and CNC cutting technology, resulting in a durable and visually striking piece. The addition of bullet wheels allows for easy mobility and versatile placement within living spaces.
De Bock's dedication to functionality and aesthetics is evident in "Planck," as the design adheres to the golden ratio and incorporates thin yet sturdy horizontal layers. The meticulous selection of 16 nylon wheels ensures both practicality and minimal noise, addressing the challenges of functionality and design.
