TIAN KWEI LIM's JIS Kuala Lumpur project, located in Star Boulevard, KLCC, is a revolutionary social lounge and bar that seamlessly blends the opulence of the 1920s Great Gatsby era with the tranquility of modern Japanese design. The project, completed in December 2019, features three distinct sections: a Gatsby-inspired lounge, a modern Japanese Sakura lounge, and an intimate Moroccan tearoom, each exuding its unique ambiance.

The lounge's innovative design, characterized by bold geometric patterns, gold accents, and color-changing mood lighting, creates a space that encourages socializing and connection. The fusion of these diverse design elements provides a vibrant and interactive environment, adding a burst of color to patrons' lives.

Recognized for its exceptional creativity and technical prowess, JIS Kuala Lumpur was honored with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021. This accolade celebrates the project's outstanding innovation and its ability to evoke positive emotions and wonder among visitors.
