CHIANG,CHEN WEI's residential house design, "Elegant," has been awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category for 2021. The project, which began in January 2019 and was completed in June 2019, is a stunning fusion of cozy and modern French country style, tailored to meet the specific needs of the homeowners from Hong Kong.

The 1958 square feet space is a testament to CHIANG,CHEN WEI's commitment to creating unique and functional designs. The house features a blend of modern and traditional elements, with a focus on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The use of geometry window grilles and old furniture invokes nostalgia, while the incorporation of modern touches such as blue-grey walls, wood furniture, and color paintings adds a contemporary flair.

One of the unique features of the design is the careful attention to each space's individual look, ensuring that no area feels isolated. CHIANG,CHEN WEI incorporated filigree windows in strategic locations to maintain a sense of openness and connectivity throughout the house. Additionally, the inclusion of a wall storage with eight cabinets cleverly addresses the homeowners' storage needs, despite the presence of large girders in the living space.

The realization of the design involved the use of advanced technologies such as island wood flooring, veneer, system cabinets, laser cutting, shutters, and quartz stone. The designer's emphasis on using non-formaldehyde painting in all wooden furniture reflects a dedication to the homeowners' health and well-being.
