Renowned designer Xiqiang Guo transforms a basement into a picturesque urban club inspired by ancient Chinese poetry, offering a unique blend of functionality and aesthetics. Project Duration: October 2017 - August 2019
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Xiqiang Guo's Hangho Land Boma is a captivating urban club, drawing inspiration from the ancient Chinese poem "Visit to the Land of Peach Blossoms" by Wang Wei. The design incorporates scenic elements from the poem, creating a modern poetic space. The project's standout features include jade screens with landscape paintings and fish-like adornments on walnut wood grilles, adding an enchanting touch to the ambiance.
The open Western-style kitchen and entertainment area are ingeniously integrated, resolving spatial structure issues and enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. The sunken courtyard, illuminated by a 9m-wide electric door, offers a serene and bright space, seamlessly blending with the interior.
Emphasizing sustainability, the project utilizes Geberit drainage systems, water-saving cisterns, and energy-efficient 304 stainless steel pipes. All lighting is provided by energy-saving LED fixtures, contributing to conservation efforts.
