Discover the Two Arches Villa, a modern architectural marvel inspired by Iranian gardens, designed by Hossein Hassani in Damavand, Iran in 2020.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Located in the serene surroundings of Damavand, Iran, the Two Arches Villa is a stunning testament to the fusion of tradition and modernity in architecture. Drawing inspiration from Iranian gardens, the villa features a waterway as the central axis of the site, while a white plane divides the public and private spaces between two arches. The design reflects the concept of extroversion and introversion of Iranian architecture, with all windows positioned towards the main courtyard and the street.
The villa, spanning an area of 200 square meters, is a unique blend of concrete and metal with brick cladding. The use of concrete for shaping the arches, combined with metal structure and brick finishing, sets this building apart from traditional architectural norms.
Designed by Hossein Hassani, Amin Habibi, and Fatemeh Azimi, the Two Arches Villa is a testament to the team's dedication to creating a high-quality living space while overcoming the challenge of the site's small dimensions. The project, located in a summer area, reflects the rich and traditional background of the region, resulting in a spatially rich and voluminous architectural marvel.
