FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lina Piskunova's "Solaris" is a remarkable triptych of asemic calligraphy, consisting of three distinct works titled "The Sun," "The Ocean," and "The Library." Each piece is a visual representation of the designer's contemplation on the elements that sustain life - sunlight, water, and knowledge. The asemic calligraphy, characterized by its lack of logical meaning, offers a canvas for viewers to engage in imaginative interpretation, fostering a sense of co-creation between the artist and the audience.
Created using colored pens, golden and silver markers on color paper, the asemic calligraphy flickering text is meticulously handcrafted, resulting in a unique decor that sets an intelligent and creative atmosphere in any interior space. The absence of a logical meaning in the asemic text allows for the activation of imagination, making each viewer a co-creator of the art, thus imparting new and personal meanings to the work.
The triptych "Solaris" is complemented by the series "J'existe !," comprising 11 works that explore themes of birth, love, dance, poetry, freedom, and music, among others. The series presents a cohesive visual message, promoting the development of visual communication. The artwork is designed to be displayed without a traditional frame, with options for an "antiframe," glass frame, or acrylic glass frame, enhancing its contemporary and unique appeal.
Lina Piskunova's "Solaris" is a testament to the designer's creative vision and meticulous craftsmanship, overcoming the challenges of inscribing large circular text with balance and equilibrium while maintaining a consistent style across all three graphics. The result is a captivating and delicate object that evokes the essence of poetry, music, and dreaming dance, transcending the boundaries of traditional calligraphy to create a space for contemplation and reflection.
