Wei-Li Liu's "Authenticity" residence, inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi-sabi, offers a unique blend of tranquility and authenticity. The 132 square meter space, completed in March 2021 in Taichung, Taiwan, embodies the essence of a quality life through its use of 40-year-old craftsmanship and a thoughtful combination of materials.

The design focuses on simplicity, utilizing darker tones and natural materials to create a clear and neat space with ample storage. The living room features dark-colored wood with a gentle, relaxing vibe, while the dining area is highlighted by black stone. The space is designed to seamlessly transition between different areas, with a glass brick wall allowing for an abundance of natural light and various-colored lights to illuminate the darker tones.

Wei-Li Liu's attention to detail is evident throughout the residence, with a focus on creating a comfortable and visually appealing environment. The use of eco-friendly and bug-resistant materials ensures a safe and non-toxic living space, while the design's straightforward approach reduces waste and contributes to its zen aesthetic.
