"Purrfect for Two" - A Unique Living Space Customized for Owner and Cat

Shih-shih Interior Design Co., Ltd. presents "Purrfect for Two," a distinctive living space tailored for an owner and their cat. The design maximizes the smoothness of the flow and size of the storage rooms, ensuring the comfort and security of both occupants. The 40 square meter space is divided into two levels, with a wavy flow meandering as the axis of the space to prevent the formation of too many corners.

Utilizing dark grey as the main tone in the public area, the space features a combination of materials such as coating, wood flooring, glass bricks, and plaster, creating a textured ambiance. The private area is adorned with dark pink accents, exuding a mature and elegant personality. The design incorporates two French windows to introduce natural light and embedded streamlined lights to brighten specific areas.

The space includes a curve-lined big sofa that allows for enjoying sunlight, while also serving as a gathering space for friends and family. The sofa can also function as a guest bed when needed, showcasing the multifunctional aspect of the design.

The project was brought to life by designers Chia-Pei Lin, Hsin-Ju Hu, and Wei-Peng Liu, who overcame the challenge of ensuring a smooth flow between the two levels while maintaining a balance between functionality and aesthetics.
