Residential Apartment "No Boundary" by Hsin-Yuan Lee

Hsin-Yuan Lee's "No Boundary" residential apartment design introduces a unique approach to spatial layout, blending modern sentiment with warm wooden textures to create a harmonious living space. The project, completed on February 23rd, 2019, in Taichung City, Taiwan, spans 100 square meters and was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2020.

The design features versatile penetration of spatial layout, utilizing axis partitioning to seamlessly integrate public and private spaces. The open-style arrangement at the entrance eliminates solid wall partitioning, creating a boundary-less environment where space and function coexist.

The interior design showcases three distinct areas - the living room, dining room, and bar kitchen - each defined by modern contours and light grids that separate temporary and indoor spaces. The use of white storage cabinets, mirrors, and marble elements maintains a consistent color scheme while delineating different functional zones.

The private space at the rear of the apartment optimizes spatial utilization, with the master bedroom exuding elegance through cocoa-colored accents and dignified wooden tones. The secondary bedroom introduces a sense of leisure with lighter wooden textures, enhancing the overall residential experience.

Hsin-Yuan Lee's "No Boundary" design challenges traditional spatial boundaries, offering a seamless and functional living environment that prioritizes modern aesthetics and practicality.
