Beilei Ge's Villa Mandarin Palace in Shanghai, China, is a classical, modern, and comfortable 1800-square-meter house inspired by traditional Chinese courtyard layouts and local culture.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Beilei Ge's Villa Mandarin Palace is a stunning 1800-square-meter residence located in Shanghai, China. The design draws inspiration from the traditional Chinese courtyard layout and the rich local culture of Shanghai, resulting in a classical, modern, and comfortable living space.
The project features a gradual Confucian-style interior layout with a progressive enclosed interior and private garden, creating a modern Chinese-style courtyard. The symmetrical layout, based on the central axis, incorporates an atrium garden as the axis, serving as the elders' living space on the ground floor, with a Shanghai-style Chinese dining room for gatherings. The main reception space is divided into the main reception area and the female guest lounge, offering an elegant and private atmosphere.
The second floor includes learning, entertainment, and rest spaces for the siblings, as well as the owner's private space. The selection of furniture and daily necessities reflects the hostess's romantic and aesthetic life taste. The design was completed in July 2021, following its inception in December 2019.
Beilei Ge's Villa Mandarin Palace is a fusion of classical and modern Chinese design, showcasing the integration of human nature and culture. The furnishings are carefully curated to embody art and style, creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere for the residents.
The project was recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2023, highlighting its well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements.
