Renovation of Factory into 1800 Square Meter Flagship Store Showcases Unique Design and Integrated Solutions

Renowned designer Yun Mao has unveiled the transformation of a simple factory into the innovative flagship store for Co-real Smart Home, located at No.700 Gudun Road, West Lake district, Hangzhou, China. The flagship store, spanning 1800 square meters, is a testament to Co-real Smart Home's commitment to energy-saving and eco-lifestyle solutions.

The flagship store is a white box with distinct volumes around a central courtyard, conveying ideas about technology and life, as well as opening and sharing. It features a high atrium that opens the space, presenting a grand and transparent view, with the first floor housing a product showroom and intelligent experience sample rooms. The second floor is dedicated to a comprehensive office area, showcasing the brand's integrated solutions for intelligent and comfortable home systems.

The innovative design is equipped with four constant systems to ensure stable temperature, humidity, oxygen, and static throughout the space, providing visitors with a comfortable and immersive experience. The project was completed between November 2018 and August 2019 and has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2021.

Yun Mao, the founder of qicang design and co-founder of T10 + Design Alliance, is known for his expertise in spatial interaction design and his ability to integrate design concepts into commercial values. His innovative approach to the Co-real Smart Home flagship store has brought new vitality to the area and increased the unique attraction for the enterprise, setting a new standard for retail and exhibition design.
