Residential House Design by Yu Fei

Yu Fei's award-winning residential house design is a testament to practicality, aesthetics, planning, and environmental protection. The innovative concept of placing a small room within the living room, cleverly using lights and shapes to emphasize it, sets this design apart. The tea room, slightly elevated from the ground, creates an independent space within the home, offering a unique living experience.

The project, which commenced in March 2020 and concluded in the same year in Fujian, China, showcases meticulous attention to detail. The design seamlessly integrates the living area with the rest space, creating a fluid "living room-tea room-living balcony-living room" circulation. The tea room, resembling an independent box within the home, embodies the essence of "independent but not lonely," offering a versatile and inviting space.

Yu Fei's design not only reflects the current family structure but also anticipates future changes, with the space next to the living room designed as a tea room with a tatami structure. This flexible layout allows for the transformation of the tea room into a temporary guest bedroom, demonstrating thoughtful consideration for evolving needs.
