City Villa: A Sales Center Embracing Local Culture and Modern Oriental Spatial Mood

Yutong Lin's City Villa project, located in Suichang, China, stands out as a remarkable sales center that seamlessly integrates the local cultural heritage and modern design elements. The project, covering an area of 568 sqm, beautifully reflects the region's rich mineral resources and cultural heritage through its innovative design approach.

The design team drew inspiration from the local impression of "mountain and stone," incorporating rock slabs with stable properties and strong textures to create a rustic and natural temperament. The use of dark and gray tones of stone, intersecting line forms, and metal elements reflects a modern oriental spatial mood, infusing the space with values that resonate with the local landscape.

Utilizing a framework of modern oriental style and traditional Italian design techniques, the project elegantly reimagines classic design elements to craft a unique and captivating space. The team's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the selection of materials, such as Chinese black marble for the walls, wood veneer for adjusting the atmosphere, and handmade corrugated metal bar and translucent stone for embellishments.

The project, which commenced in August 2021 and concluded in April 2022, overcame challenges posed by the epidemic period and budget constraints. The team successfully optimized design materials and content changes, striking a balance between tension and relaxation while highlighting the main design content.

Yutong Lin's City Villa project exemplifies excellence in interior space, retail, and exhibition design, earning the prestigious Silver A' Design Award for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.
