RareMe is a groundbreaking app developed by Cong Fang and his team to address the challenges faced by rare disease patients worldwide. With over 300 million individuals affected by rare diseases, the app aims to provide equal access to treatment and support, especially in developing countries.

The app, available on both IOS and Android, facilitates connections between patients, their families, and healthcare providers, including hospitals, medical institutions, pharmacies, doctors, and drug developers. It also utilizes an intelligent recommendation algorithm to connect patients with similar conditions, fostering a sense of community and support.

Through RareMe, patients can document their journeys, seek support from others with similar conditions, and access information on global treatments and medications. The RareMe project, initiated in September 2019 in Hangzhou, China, is an ongoing effort to bridge the gap in rare disease care.
