Anna Kravchenko's Project Lada 2050, a collaboration with 3 design schools and Lada brand, reimagines the future of vehicles in an ArtBook unveiled at the First Moscow Design Biennale in April 2017.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Project Lada 2050, a collaboration between 3 design schools and Lada brand, presents a visionary future mobility concept in an ArtBook unveiled at the First Moscow Design Biennale. The ArtBook showcases the international competition's results, revealing the stages of the competition and the complex visual identification elements created. The navigation system, sign system, and color solutions reflect the tasks and design decisions of the Lada 2050 contest.
To create the navigation, a sign system was proposed, with the primary color representing the finalist's vehicle model. The ArtBook format is 265x235 mm, with a matte laminated cover and 264 pages, reflecting the two-week effort to compile the comprehensive publication.
Art Director Anna Kravchenko led the design team in creating a complex navigation system for the ArtBook, incorporating various types of sketches and stages of modeling a conceptual mode of transport. The color scheme is based on the main color model of the finalist, providing a cohesive visual experience.
The Lada 2050 future vision project involved 35 students from 3 universities, and the ArtBook includes a description of the project, numerous sketches, and stages of modeling a conceptual mode of transport. A navigation system with signs infographic was created for orientation, and internal bookmark half-titles were added for the 6 teams involved.
The project, which began in March 2017 and concluded in April 2017 in Moscow, showcased the work of students from MAMI, Academy named after Stieglitz, and the Finnish University of Design in Lahti. The Lada brand served as the sponsor and ideological inspirer for the project.
The ArtBook reflects the culmination of the LADA 2050 future vision project, featuring a comprehensive collection of sketches and stages of modeling a conceptual mode of transport. The publication's intricate navigation system and diverse content aim to provide a complete and understandable presentation of the project's results.
