Station Market Mushroom Coffee Packaging

Yuxi Liu's Station Market presents a unique take on coffee with their Mushroom Coffee packaging. The product is designed to provide a healthier alternative to regular coffee, offering various health benefits while maintaining an amazing taste. The packaging features abstract illustrations and colors extracted from the coffee, reflecting the different flavors available, including Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Turkey tail.

Unlike regular coffee, Mushroom Coffee aims to elevate brain function, boost energy with less caffeine, and supplement daily nutrition. The packaging design process involved a cross-platform approach, from digital to physical, and included web and coffee shop designs. The goal was to educate customers about the culture of mushroom coffee and provide an immersive experience of the coffee production journey.

Yuxi Liu, a Graphic and UI/UX designer based in NYC, holds a Master of Science in Packaging Design from Pratt Institute. Her approach combines strategy, design, and art direction to transform everyday objects into moments of delight. The Station Market Mushroom Coffee packaging was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its practicality, innovation, and fulfillment of professional and industrial requirements.
