Unova: Redefining Co-Working Spaces

Unova, a brainchild of renowned designer Li Xiang, is a revolutionary co-working space that breaks away from the traditional shared office concept. Spanning 8800 sqm across four floors, it caters to a wide spectrum of occupants, from young entrepreneurs to medium-sized enterprises, each with distinct preferences and needs.

The second floor houses a vibrant dining space with captivating wall installations, while the third floor features an innovative office area designed to appeal to younger professionals, incorporating playful elements like workplace-themed furniture and brainstorming ball pools. The fourth floor offers a more spacious and sophisticated environment tailored for mature and elite groups.

Overcoming the challenges of renovating an old-fashioned mall, the project transformed the building into an unconventional and artistic office space, breathing new life into the community. The design team creatively reimagined the internal structure, introducing an atrium space and strategically placed windows to infuse the indoor environment with an outdoor ambiance.

Li Xiang's visionary approach to Unova reflects a deep understanding of the evolving workspace dynamics, seamlessly blending aesthetics, functionality, and the well-being of its occupants. The project's recognition with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 further underscores its innovative and impactful design.
