The Satori Harbor by Wutopia Lab

Wutopia Lab's Satori Harbor, a culturally symbolic library, is a unique addition to VIPshop's new headquarters. The 19th floor features a re-interpretation of the European art saloon, with non-hierarchical displays of paintings from across the world. The space offers an obscure experience of space and time through meandering light and darkness.

The entire space is covered with stucco, except for the curved steps, which are made of beige terrazzo. The ceiling is painted white, creating a serene ambiance. The design also incorporates circular windows capturing miniature corners of the city, adding to the immersive experience.

The library, located in the South Tower of Vipshop Headquarters Building, Zone A, Pazhou Internet Innovation Cluster, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, was completed in October 2020.

Chief Architect Yu Ting, along with a dedicated team, including Guo Yuchen, Yang Siqi, Zhan Beidi, and others, brought the Satori Harbor to life. The design is a homage to the history of Guangzhou, serving as a connecting point between customers and valued merchandise from around the world.

Wutopia Lab's Satori Harbor was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design.
