Onewood: A Multi-Floor Entertainment Space with Unique Design Styles

Yan Wu, a renowned designer from Shanghai, has unveiled Onewood, a multi-functional entertainment space located in Beijing. Comprising three distinct areas across different floors, Onewood presents a unique challenge to the design team, with each floor representing the different personalities of the drinkers.

Spanning a total area of 396 square meters, Onewood boasts a diverse range of design styles, each tailored to create a specific ambiance and cater to different preferences.

From the layout to the lighting and material to decoration, the design team faced the challenge of bringing their concepts to life. The underground floor, in particular, aims to provide a surreal and liberating experience, serving as a release from the stresses of reality.

The project, which commenced in August 2018 and concluded in July 2019, was brought to fruition through collaboration with "The Wandering Earth" film props crew, adding a touch of cinematic flair to the design.

Yan Wu's Onewood has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020, underscoring its innovative and creative approach.
