GHD Architectural Design Co., Ltd. proudly presents "Jiyang Binhe," an experimental school project that redefines educational architecture. Situated in Jiyang District, Jinan, the 9-year school supports compulsory education and embodies the teaching ideas and student-related concepts of quality-oriented education in the new era. The project, with a GFA of 24,462sqm, is designed to block external "noise," ensure campus safety, and create a pleasant, systematic, and quality cognitive environment to enhance students' capabilities in abstract and systematic thinking. The school overlooks the Yellow River, providing a picturesque setting for the campus.

The buildings are strategically configured with a main axis and two auxiliary axes, incorporating courtyards and various functional zones. The interiors are designed to be pleasant, systematic, and flexible, fostering an academic atmosphere. Emphasizing sustainability, the project utilizes energy-saving and non-polluting materials, thermal-insulation modified ceramsite mortar, and double-layer insulated glass for noise absorption. The light-colored coating with stone-like textures and real stones creates a calm and affable ambiance unique to the campus.

The school buildings are designed to foster students' hobbies and characters, providing a protective "umbrella" from external distractions. The master planning creates a micro campus environment with interior and outdoor spaces, offering a safe living environment and an ambience of classical Chinese academies, immersing students in Chinese culture.
