The Scarlett: Redefining Elegance and Simplicity in Residential Design

Chih Hsiu Sung has unveiled The Scarlett, a residential design project that sets a new standard for elegance and simplicity. The design is inspired by the fusion of simplicity and elegance, incorporating gentle arc shapes and strict straight lines to create a unique sense of home. The use of pure white backgrounds blended with gray, black, and milk tea colors, along with bright orange highlights, creates a rustic yet luxurious atmosphere. The project was completed in March 2021 in Taiwan.

The Scarlett features a ceiling with an elegant arc-shaped linear design that connects the space, balanced by protruding and recessed designs in the public area. The master bedroom exudes a minimalist and elegant semi-luxury style, with ample natural light and a soft, warm atmosphere. The design incorporates amber mirrors, titanium-plated metals, low formaldehyde building materials, and a rich fusion of exotic materials to achieve its unique aesthetic.

Chih Hsiu Sung's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the delicate lacquer surface and the design of display cabinets for the client model collection, adding warm layers to the overall spatial experience. The project was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements.
