Automotive Social Club: Redefining Car Spaces

Teng Guo Yan Jiao presents the Automotive Social Club, a groundbreaking architectural and interior design project aimed at creating a versatile car social space. Situated between two train tracks in Fanshi Town CP3, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China, this innovative project reimagines traditional car spaces, offering a dynamic, multifunctional environment for enthusiasts and brands alike.

The 410-square meter building features a unique L-shaped design, with a single-story section housing repair, cleaning, and beauty workshops, and a two-story section comprising a bar, sales area, office, kitchen, and more. The standout "big steps" in the interior design serve as a visual focal point, seamlessly connecting various functions and breaking traditional spatial boundaries.

Constructed with large triangular eaves and extensive windows to optimize natural lighting, the building facade utilizes red and black pressed steel plates, reflecting the brand's positioning. The interior steps boast super white frosted glass, transforming into luminous boxes for diverse brand display needs.

From architecture to interior design, the Automotive Social Club offers a complete experience, providing a platform for car-related activities, brand events, and social gatherings. The project, designed in May 2018, commenced construction in July 2018, and was successfully completed in January 2019.

Guo Teng and JiaoYan, the creative minds behind the "BUD studio," are dedicated to redefining spatial possibilities and promoting innovation from the ground up. Their commitment to excellence has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category in 2020.
