Fouad Naayem Unveils Private Residential Chalet in Faqra Club

Fouad Naayem, a renowned architect, has revealed the breathtaking design of a private residential chalet in Faqra Club, Lebanon. The chalet, nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Faqra Club, is a testament to innovative architecture and luxury living.

The inspiration for this unique design stemmed from the earth's natural colors, with dark and light grey tones resembling the rocks in the area, complemented by wooden cladding panels. The building's distinctive triangular shape and inclined roof create a harmonious integration with the surrounding landscape.

One of the standout features of this project is the roof, which doubles as a serene retreat with a small infinity pool offering panoramic views of the valley. The design also incorporates green areas and infinity pools, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces for a sustainable and luxurious living experience.

The realization of this design involved meticulous attention to detail, with materials such as zinc cladding, dark grey stones, and HPL wood cladding carefully selected to bring the vision to life. The use of innovative technology, including LED fixtures and a snow melting system, further enhances the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the chalet.

Despite the challenges posed by the steep, triangular terrain, Fouad Naayem's design has overcome these obstacles to create a landmark structure that exudes elegance and practicality. The project took four years to complete, from spring 2014 to summer 2018, with a focus on integrating the building seamlessly into its surroundings.

Fouad Naayem's architectural prowess has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Iron A' Design Award in 2020, cementing his reputation as a leading figure in the industry.
