TsingYan Interior Design & Contracting's Pure House project is a testament to the innovative and creative prowess of the design team. Situated in a high-rise building in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, the 125-square-meter interior space is surrounded by expansive French windows, offering an exceptional view of the cityscape. The project was designed and constructed between January 2018 and May 2019, with a focus on seamlessly integrating the indoor and outdoor elements to create a harmonious living space.
The inspiration for Pure House stemmed from the challenge of dealing with the visual wall in the public area due to the wide-spread French windows. To address this, the designers extended the structural surface of the building to the interior, enhancing the weight of the main TV wall. This was achieved through the use of copper orange titanium/physical vapor deposition board, creating a visually stunning and functional solution.
One of the unique features of Pure House is the use of two-inch hanging tiles and solid wood grilles to establish a balance between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The project's design team, led by Chien Ming Lai, Jyun Ru Chen, and Wei Jhe Wong, skillfully reconfigured the space to increase the public area, creating a comfortable and fluid flow throughout the interior. Additionally, the master bathroom was thoughtfully designed to accommodate the different usage habits of the residents, incorporating a urinal for added convenience.
The challenges of working within a high-rise building with expansive windows were expertly overcome through meticulous attention to detail. The use of copper orange titanium PVD board and the incorporation of hovering TV walls and lines of tiles and grilles achieved a perfect visual balance, while the arc edge of the ceiling softened the space's angles, creating a sense of openness and comfort.
TsingYan Interior Design & Contracting's Pure House project stands as a testament to the company's commitment to excellence and innovation in interior design. Under the professional leadership of Jamie, the company's team of designers with diverse expertise continues to deliver exceptional and efficient design solutions.
