Ivan Kao's The Satellite Flare is a residential design project that captures the essence of natural materials and ample lighting to create a charming cultural space. The design inspiration stemmed from the morning sunlight filtering through the windows, accompanied by the gentle breeze and birdsong, leading to the choice of translucent cloth and light-colored wood to manifest these characteristics.

The project stands out with its unique use of natural materials, offering flexibility and a sense of extension and broadness through thoughtful division and cabinet placement. The incorporation of blank doors and a long table in the kitchen area adds a sense of completion and consistency to the space.

Realized through the deployment of tinted mirrors, light-colored wood textures, systematic cabinets, and recessed lighting, The Satellite Flare achieves a seamless integration of materials, creating a harmonious and elegant living space.
