Nanjing Yongning House: Redefining Sales Office Spaces

Hui Ouyang's Nanjing Yongning House project reimagines the traditional sales office, infusing it with a modern aesthetic and functional design. The project, located on Construction Road, Pukou District, Nanjing City, was completed in March 2019 after an intensive design process that began in August 2018. The 23680.60 sq.ft sales office reflects a seamless integration of various spaces, creating an atmosphere that balances both intensity and fluidity.

The design inspiration for Nanjing Yongning House is rooted in the deconstruction of the symbolic elements of the city wall, translating them into patterns, voids, solids, and interplays of light and shadow. This approach not only interprets the visual and spatial aspects but also embodies a spiritual etherealness, offering a unique and captivating experience for visitors.

One of the standout features of the design is the use of refined metals in columns and wall lamps, enhancing the space with a sense of both roughness and refinement. The meticulous alignment of lines, planes, and forms creates a flowing atmosphere, setting Nanjing Yongning House apart from conventional sales offices.
