Haragana, a lounge chair designed by Tobias Kappeler, challenges the fast-paced world by encouraging individuals to take a break and observe their surroundings. The chair's unique design, made from bent steel tubes and cork disks, offers a comfortable seating experience while maintaining a light and airy presence. The absence of armrests and upholstery gives it a minimalist yet striking appearance, making it a perfect fit for interior spaces.

The chair, measuring 75cm in width, 65cm in length, and 65cm in height, was meticulously crafted by hand, showcasing Kappeler's dedication to creating a functional yet visually appealing piece. The low seating position, at 28cm, is deliberately designed to encourage longer periods of relaxation and contemplation.

Exhibited at the Royal College of Art in February 2020, the Haragana lounge chair is a testament to Kappeler's innovative approach to furniture design, blending form and function seamlessly.
