Rational Distribution and Stylish Storage Define the Unique "Guide of the Light" Residence

Wang Wei, the visionary behind Si Wei Space Design Co., Ltd., has unveiled the "Guide of the Light" project, a stunning single-story residence in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The design embodies conciseness, sophistication, and warmth, meeting the clients' desires for a refined, low-key luxurious beauty. The project was awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2023.

The 182 square meter space features a rational distribution of public and private areas, with a key concept being the installation of a row of double-sided cabinets, subtly dividing the corridor-shaped entryway from the combined dining and kitchen area. This design not only provides a flow of space with plenty of turns but also offers ample storage for the public area.

Utilizing fine veneer and thoughtful transitions, the design seamlessly integrates air-conditioning equipment, recessed lighting, and light strips, creating a smooth and visually stunning transition between different areas. The living room, island dining area, and kitchen share the same depth of field and complementary functions on the same axis, with custom-made stone-patterned melamine used for the TV wall, adding a non-repeating texture and ample storage.
