Nature-Inspired Tranquility in Urban Setting

Musee du Nuage, a nature-themed aesthetic medical clinic designed by Jackson Tu, offers a tranquil and exclusive urban retreat at the bustling city center. Embracing the concept of Less is More and essential beauty through minimal practices, the clinic provides a spacious stage interweaving light, shadow, people, and movement within. The design features a custom-made ceiling lamp, inspired by nature, and a unique vase at the entrance resembling plant tissue.

The clinic's front yard functions as an urban retreat, welcoming guests with a sense of serenity. The warm, diffused light from the curvy ceiling lamp provides comfort and warmth to de-stress during treatments, while special arrangements in the common area offer an exclusive, calm, and relieving experience. The project was completed in March 2019 in Taipei, Taiwan, and was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design in 2020.

To maintain privacy and serenity, the circulation within the property has been rearranged thoroughly, with appointment-only mechanisms to ensure time-efficient, high-privacy services. Volcanic stone platforms and diatomite walls are chosen to form the courtyard, creating a natural look. The design also overcame challenges of balancing function and style, with custom-made ground-up windows providing privacy from pedestrians while allowing natural light to diffuse into the room.
