Rebecca Burt's The Passion of the Card Leadlight Series

Renowned designer Rebecca Burt introduces The Passion of the Card Leadlight Series, a collection of premium plastic business cards that honor the art of stained glass windows. The series is a tribute to the late mentor of the designer, Evan Reiman, who was a skilled Entrepreneur and Screen Printer. The project, which took six weeks from design to production completion, was designed and printed in Auckland, New Zealand.

These business cards are silk screen printed on clear PVC plastic, dried one color at a time, and utilize a unique Opaque Barrier Technique to create a myriad of effects. The design truly comes to life when held up to a window, reminiscent of the way stained glass windows illuminate with light.

Rebecca Burt's meticulous attention to detail and innovative design process unlocked the full potential of the clear base stock, resulting in a series of business cards that are virtually hand-made. The cards are embellished with a pearlescent seal, UV overgloss, and die-cut to perfection, ensuring a lasting impression.
