Oriental-Inspired Sales Center Design

The China Resources Harbin Sales Center, designed by HOLF DESIGN CONSULTANT CO., LTD, is a captivating blend of regional culture and modern aesthetics. The spatial structure incorporates traditional Chinese elements such as mortice and tenon joints, screens, and grilles, creating a space rich in historic and cultural significance. The almost entirely symmetrical layout evokes a sense of ritual, inviting visitors to marvel at the beauty of Oriental cultures.

Utilizing regional culture and inheriting Oriental, cultural, and sensory aesthetics, the space presents the crystal clear essence of the frozen city of Harbin. The design extracts elements of the Chinese Golden Mean, deconstructs and reorganizes the traditional house, and presents it in a contemporary way. The towering screens in the negotiation area not only ensure privacy but also provide adaptability and a sense of ritual, making the space both elegant and functional.

The project area spans 600 square meters and is located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China. The design team, led by Houfu Chen and Yani Hong, overcame the challenge of integrating traditional and modern aesthetics, giving elements of the past a new meaning in harmony with contemporary lifestyles. The space was realized using materials such as marble, glass, wood veneer, hardened fabric, and metal, resulting in a dynamic and rich artistic conception that enhances the interaction between people and the space.

From the tone to the structure of the space, every detail reflects regional culture, with elements such as Harbin county jade, ewha and rockery, and traditional screens creating a profound cultural ambience. The abstract and elegant environment demonstrates the integration of soft decoration and artistic works, enriching the space with a new cultural identity.
