Residential Design "Silence in All" by Wei-Han Shih

Wei-Han Shih's "Silence in All" is a testament to the designer's commitment to redefining luxury in residential spaces. The project, completed in September 2018 in Taiwan, presents a unique blend of inclusiveness and neutrality symbolized by expanding grey color tones throughout the space. Inspired by the owner's passion for ink painting and art, the design seamlessly integrates natural materials and shades of grey to create a rich, changing beauty of hierarchy.

The design's unique properties lie in its use of natural slates, glass, mirrors, and other visually transparent materials to create a rich and changing beauty of hierarchy within the narrow and long base. The space features wall cabinets, double-sided cabinets, and glass-made cabinets, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics. The project also involved the use of green building materials, Italy-imported paints, and architectural concrete to achieve a seamless and luxurious living space.

Wei-Han Shih's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the project's realization technology, which includes the use of natural thin sintered stones, glass tiles, painted glasses, and other innovative materials. The designer's focus on technical specifications led to the successful renovation of a 40-year-old house, addressing structural issues and enhancing the overall spatial flow for convenient living.
