A' Design Award-Winning Money Talks Illustration Series by Chia-Liang Lin Xi-Ting Huang Sheng-Er Yu

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Money Talks Illustration Series

The award-winning Money Talks illustration series, created by Chia-Liang Lin Xi-Ting Huang Sheng-Er Yu, sheds light on the darkness within officialdom. The series, completed in Ningbo, China between January and June 2020, uses hundreds of ghosts to embody the twisted and terrifying situations prevalent in modern bureaucracy, such as corruption, sex scandals, deception, and unfairness.

Utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, the design team overcame the challenge of balancing aesthetic, expression, and visual elements to create a visually impactful narrative. The series received widespread acclaim, touching numerous individuals and serving as a poignant condemnation of modern officialdom and social corruption.

Chia-Liang Lin, a PhD candidate and associate professor at Huzhou University, Taiwan, has been a designer for over a decade. His research interests include graphics design, illustration, and multimedia technology.
