Where Dreams Lie: A Unique 18k Gold Ring Design

Yuk King Hui introduces the Where Dreams Lie ring, a one-of-a-kind 18k gold ring adorned with over 900 color sapphires, Alexandrite, Tanzanite, Tsavorite, white, and champagne diamonds.

The ring, completed in January 2021 in Hong Kong, is a combination of two rings that can be worn separately or together, offering a unique and versatile look for any occasion.

The Where Dreams Lie ring is a result of over 500 hours of engineering and craft, featuring a constellation of more than 20 carats of color sapphires in 100 different shades, adorned with Alexandrite, Tanzanite, Tsavorite, white, and champagne diamonds. The ring is finished with set stones in all dimensions with four different types of settings: Bezel Setting, Semi-Bezel setting, Gypsy setting, and Micro pave setting.

The first unique property of this ring is its ability to be worn in three different ways, creating an outstanding effect that sets it apart from any crowd. Additionally, scattered Alexandrites within the color sapphires create a mesmerizing color change effect, making the ring truly unique.

The project started in October 2021 and was completed in January 2021 in Hong Kong. The inspiration for the design came from dreams, with the designer drawing from the imagery of deep-sea creatures and the different stages of sleep to create a truly exceptional piece.

Yuk King Hui, the designer of the Where Dreams Lie ring, is the founder of Ikku Fine Jewellery, aiming to provide customers with reasonably priced fine jewelry of contemporary designs. With a background in Fashion Design and Luxury Jewellery Management, Yuk King Hui brings a unique perspective to her designs, resulting in the creation of exceptional pieces like the Where Dreams Lie ring.
