International Beauty Club Design "Masa" by William Wei and Jolie Zhu

William Wei and Jolie Zhu's Masa project, an International Beauty Club based in Shanghai, has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2020. The design features a pure white Corian decorated main area with intricate brass details, inspired by the mobilized structure of the foyal. The lobby artwork, inspired by the famous British poet Keats's poem "The Four Seasons of Life," uses hand-made brass to spread shadows of English characters representing the four seasons of life through natural light. The project, which began in November 2018 and concluded in June 2019, utilized materials such as Corleone, brass, terrazzo, and wood.

Wei liang, Jolie, and Feng Wei Qiang were part of the design team that overcame various construction challenges, including the combination of different materials and understanding the requirements of the customer's construction team. The design aimed to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for guests, utilizing soft fabric armchairs, atomizing fireplaces, and a partition display perspective to arrange the space. The design reflects the nature of vitality and represents the gorgeous sky, creating a rich visual sense and energy.

William Wei and Jolie Zhu, hailing from Shanghai, China, have showcased outstanding expertise and innovation in the Masa project, earning the Silver A' Design Award for their remarkable level of excellence, strong technical characteristics, and splendid artistic skill. Their design introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder, setting a new standard in International Beauty Club design.
