Yu-Wen Wang's Gentle Grey

Yu-Wen Wang's "Gentle Grey" project in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is a stunning example of modern residential design. Inspired by the client's preference for calm, dark colors, the space is a unique blend of neutral grayscale and material textures, creating a visually striking and exquisite modern gentleman style.

The design features a consistent horizontal and vertical structure, with open-plan spaces and carefully delineated ceilings, guiding traffic flow and creating a harmonious aesthetic. The use of neutral materials with simple patterns and natural textures adds a touch of refined luxury to the space.

Spanning 125 square meters, the project includes four rooms and a living room, with an emphasis on transparent, spacious, and comfortable living. The open plan layout and careful attention to lines and materials create a harmonious scene, emphasizing light and shade, and the interplay of straight and curved elements.

Completed in May 2021, the "Gentle Grey" project is a testament to Yu-Wen Wang's design prowess, seamlessly blending modern style with calming neutrals to create a truly unique living space.
