Katipo: Redefining Outdoor Cooking

Elad Achi's Katipo is a hand-sized foldable outdoor gas stove, inspired by the unique characteristics of the katipo spider. The stove folds into a compact 50mm width and 120mm length, offering a convenient and space-saving solution for outdoor enthusiasts. Its innovative design reflects a blend of functionality and style, elevating the camping experience to new heights.

The stove, made from stainless steel and painted with a heat-resistant ceramic-based color, offers both durability and aesthetic appeal. Its unique leg mechanism ensures stability and ease of use, making it a standout addition to any outdoor adventure.

Designed as part of Elad Achi's industrial design studies at HIT Israel, the Katipo project was a result of extensive research and prototyping, culminating in a product that seamlessly combines form and function. The stove's compact yet efficient design makes it an ideal companion for camping, hiking, and traveling, offering a hassle-free cooking experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
