ChungSheng Chen's Reborn wooden vase design, created in Tainan, Taiwan, is a stunning example of innovative artistry. The design team discovered leftover wood from furniture making and combined it with metal through inlaying techniques, resulting in a unique, three-dimensional spherical wooden vase. The design symbolizes the cycle of life, with brass wire embedded on the wood following the wood grain, resembling the shape of sprouting seeds and roots, giving a sense of vitality to the artwork.

The Reborn wooden vase is not only a piece of art but also a functional item. It can be used as a flower vessel with glass containers for growing aquatic plants, resembling a germinating seed from a distance. The design team's meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in the production technology, which involves lathe turning, hand-welding, inlaying, and hand-dyed spray painting, resulting in a truly exceptional piece of art.

ChungSheng Chen, an associate professor with over 29 years of experience in product design, has once again demonstrated his creative prowess with the Reborn wooden vase.
