Introducing Gold Feet Bay, a pedicure health club in Yichun, China, designed by Bin Liu, which embodies the modern Zen spirit, offering a serene and idyllic landscape for relaxation and rejuvenation.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Located in Yichun, Jiangxi, China, Gold Feet Bay is a pedicure health club that seamlessly integrates Zen cultural heritage into its design, creating a tranquil and harmonious space for visitors. The project, completed in May 2019, was inspired by the architectural aesthetics of wind, light, water, and relationship, as defined by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando.
The health club features unique elements such as 145 Eaves tiles with divinity meanings from the Han Dynasty, hand-made ceramic imitations, and a serene tea room adorned with white lotus flowers, symbolizing purity and adherence to high-end standards. The design also incorporates a water landscape pool and a combination of light sources, including candlestick lamps and bamboo tube lamps, to create a calming and flexible space for guests.
Bin Liu, the visionary designer behind Gold Feet Bay, aimed to guide visitors to a holistic state of well-being, both physically and mentally. The project not only showcases meticulous attention to cultural heritage but also emphasizes the importance of situational light sources to enhance the overall experience.
