Sierra Hijauan: Modern Minimalist Residential Design Project

Jack Lim's Sierra Hijauan project is a modern minimalist residential design located in the heart of Malaysia, Ampang, covering approximately 4000 SQFT. The design features warm tone elements and materials such as light tone wood, raw marble surfaces, and matte color surfaces to create a zen atmosphere. The unique airflow concepts, including curved surfaces and breathable spaces, set this project apart from others.

The design realization technology focuses on creating a feeling and mood associated with each area's function, utilizing ambient lighting to provide overall illumination and highlight furniture. The key materials used are timber-textured material and stone, representing the zen atmosphere and balancing natural lighting materials with calm colors to create a neutral space.

Client engagement for the project began in March 2021, with the design director working closely with the client to understand special requirements and propose practical design solutions. The project is estimated to be completed by September 2021.

Jack Lim's Sierra Hijauan project was awarded Bronze in the A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that contribute to quality of life improvements.
