Wonderland in the Alleyways: A Playful and Cozy Residential Lobby

Je-Space Interior Design has unveiled its latest project, "Wonderland in the Alleyways," a 274-square-meter innovative design of a residential lobby in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The design draws inspiration from the ambiance of a French cafe, creating a playful and cozy space that offers a unique visual experience for residents and guests.

The lobby features a vaulted glass ceiling that introduces natural light, expanding the visual space and solving the challenge of a low ceiling. The use of windows and glass enhances the perception of spaciousness, while the combination of natural light and white walls contributes to a comfortable ambiance.

Unlike traditional approaches to spatial perception, the design incorporates the vibrancy of a coffee shop, using mild yet cheerful colors, ceramic tiles, and the luster of metals to create a visually engaging environment. Wooden window shutters around the coffee shop area offer a distinct experience, adding layers to the overall spatial design.

"Wonderland in the Alleyways" is a testament to the innovative approach of Je-Space Interior Design, transforming a typical lobby into a visual feast that brightens daily life. The project was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable design characteristics.

The design team, led by Wu Mei Huei, carefully balanced materials such as wood, stones, glass, ceramic, and fabric to create a harmonious blend of sharpness and softness, resulting in a space that exudes both elegance and coziness.
