Timeless Flow - Retirement Residence Design by Wu Pei Yun

Wu Pei Yun's Timeless Flow project is a 128-square-meter residence designed to provide an elegant and healing home environment for retired residents. The design integrates delicate neoclassic and modern simplicity, utilizing light gray and lake blue as the base colors to create a soft flowing impression. The project features exquisite molding, marble grain, titanium plated metal, and arc details, which contribute to the gentle flowing feeling and timeless spatial quality.

The design incorporates a wealth of different material elements such as marble tile, titanium plated metal, grid, and molding, creating a modern and elegant meaningful aesthetic. The doors and storage functions are transformed into visual metaphors, and exotic materials such as marble slab tiles, titanium, grilles, and wire panels convey a stylish and timeless spatial quality.

In response to the cooking pattern of the Chinese family, the design retains an independent hot-dish kitchen and plans the ambry design in the dining area to solve the storage problem inside the kitchen, achieving a harmonious and comfortable functional balance between the independence of cooking and open interaction. The project also overcomes challenges related to the changes in the health conditions that the elderly residents may face in the future, ensuring flexible and immediate adjustment and response.
