Residential Design "Inheritance" by Mark Han

Mark Han's "Inheritance" is a residential design project that focuses on creating a solid and lively home for a family's children. The design details of the children's room are carefully crafted to provide a lively atmosphere, adequate storage, and a large area of exterior windows for lighting, aiming to accompany the children as they grow.

The unique feature of this design lies in the transformation of the cross element on the TV wall, using the unique refraction texture of the champagne metal plate to illuminate the whole family due to the owner's religious belief.

The design uses fashionable milk tea color and simple line board elements to create a clean and pure space texture, while incorporating light classical modernity imagery. Different materials such as stone, glass, and wallpaper are used to embellish the soft furnishings of earth-colored furniture, creating three-dimensional layers.

The open and adjacent living room, restaurant, and kitchen are built on the same axis, allowing families to share the broadest perspective in all areas of the public space, becoming the best platform for family interaction and communication.

The design project faced challenges related to outlining private areas with simple lines while meeting the expectations of each family member. The master bedroom features earthy colors and fabric-covered wardrobe doors to strengthen the sense of hierarchy.

Mark Han, vice president of design at GIA Design, has led a strong design team in the Greater China region to carefully create a variety of styles of life for owners of different tastes. "Inheritance" was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
