Stoked Associates, Okamura International Unveils Innovative Workplace Design in Kuala Lumpur

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Stoked KL: A Unique Workplace Transformation

Stoked Associates, in collaboration with Okamura International, has unveiled a groundbreaking workplace design project, Stoked KL, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Inspired by the tropical and colonial features of Malaysia, the 1300sqft space offers a fully open workspace area with a studio-like ambiance, fostering creativity and interaction among occupants. The design incorporates movable bar tables for flexibility, acoustic panels for noise reduction, and a unique visual experience. Stoked KL is a testament to the transformative power of innovative workplace design.

The design team's vision was to create a space that not only reflects the brand but also caters to diverse activities. The open layout encourages collaboration and movement, with movable furniture allowing employees to choose their work settings. The incorporation of dedicated lockers ensures a clean and organized environment, promoting productivity and well-being.

Stoked KL, located at EkoCheras Office Suites, KL, Malaysia, was completed in September 2020 after a year-long project that commenced in August 2019. The design challenges, including addressing sound travel in the open environment, were overcome through the strategic use of acoustic panels, which also serve as a striking feature wall. The space's versatility allows it to transition into an event space in the evening, showcasing the adaptability and multifunctionality of the design.
