Yu Qiang introduces the futuristic and minimalist office exhibition space at Shenzhen Prince Plaza, designed to convey urban aesthetics and energy, completed in September 2019.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yu Qiang, the visionary designer, unveils the Shenzhen Prince Plaza Exhibition Center, a modern commercial office exhibition space with a theme of energy. Composed of a horizontal series of commercial buildings and vertical office buildings, the architecture, designed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, reflects a unique mountain and sea landscape. The design team, YuQiang & Partners, integrated the wisdom of Richard Sierra, creating an artistic space that conveys urban aesthetics and application platform from five perspectives: the city, space, buildings, people, and art.
The exhibition space, located on the 25th floor of a first-rate office building, spans approximately 16000 sq.ft and features a minimalist and modern office space. The use of Palissandro blue marble and acrylic forms the foundation of the building, while the glass wall, resembling a luminous installation piece, effectively divides the space, creating an artistic environment in the style of Richard Sierra. The design seamlessly integrates mountains, water, and the city, forming three viewing platforms that offer a unique perspective of the surroundings.
The design team overcame various challenges, including redefining the traditional office pattern to create a truly futuristic workspace. The space features innovative elements such as Mutto's Oslo series sofa, scientific and technological multimedia exhibition hall, and open desks, enhancing the interaction between staff and balancing the warmth of the office with the demands of modern society.
