Oriental Mood: A Captivating Blend of Nature and Architecture

Haochen Su's Oriental Mood design draws inspiration from the serene beauty of Jiangnan Water Garden, seamlessly integrating natural elements into a residential space. The design showcases a harmonious fusion of water, architecture, and nature, creating a captivating living environment that exudes tranquility and elegance.

The strength of Oriental Mood lies in its meticulous attention to detail and the infusion of naturalistic art into the architectural space. Su's innovative approach captures the essence of nature, evoking diverse emotions and experiences within the living space.

Realized through a combination of metal, rock, ceramic, copper, wood, and gypsum boards, Oriental Mood spans an impressive 1400 square meters, offering a bold and novel interior space characterized by color material collision and a deep connection to natural elements.

Throughout the design process, Su navigated creative and technical challenges, ultimately delivering a living space that reflects poetry, beauty, and perfection. The project, which commenced in April 2019 and concluded in August 2020 in Shanghai, embodies Su's dedication to creating spaces that resonate with both spirit and material.

Recipient of the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022, Oriental Mood stands as a testament to Haochen Su's exceptional design expertise, innovative vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
