Introducing Ono: A Unique Stereo Bluetooth Speaker

REMION Design Studio proudly presents Ono, a groundbreaking stereo Bluetooth speaker designed to provide the perfect sound experience. The project, initiated in 2011 as a diploma thesis by chief designer Andras Oravecz, has now culminated in the commencement of serial production after extensive technical development. The unique curved shape of the speaker is a result of meticulous engineering work, with a special diffuser design aimed at achieving the ideal stereo sound.

The primary function of Ono is to deliver exceptional sound quality. Inspired by the form of a horn from Hungarian mythology, the design has been meticulously tailored to optimize the performance of the internal components, resulting in a completely new and distinctive speaker design.

Utilizing vacuum casting technology for the corpus and stands, the speaker boasts a sleek black finish, adding to its aesthetic appeal. With dimensions measuring 649mm in width, 193mm in depth, and 556mm in height, Ono stands as a testament to innovative design and engineering.

Ono operates wirelessly, playing audio files received via Bluetooth antenna. It features two 50W deep-medium speakers and one high speaker, ensuring a rich and immersive audio experience. Additionally, the speaker comes equipped with a rechargeable battery and an external adapter for added convenience.

The journey of Ono has been marked by extensive research and development, overcoming various creative, technical, and research challenges. The speaker is the result of a comprehensive exploration of speaker forms and internal components, with input from sound engineers and audio professionals to ensure optimal performance.

András Oravecz, the chief designer and CEO of REMION Design Studio, has led the charge in bringing Ono to life. His innovative approach and dedication to creating unique, functional designs have been instrumental in the realization of this exceptional product.
