Office Design Blending Industrial and Japanese Styles

Ping Chun Hsu's "About Dimension" introduces a humanistic office design, blending industrial-style ducts and Japanese long solid wood tables in a modern space. The warm wood, grayscale artistic coating, and grayish blue tiles with stone patterns create a unique, modern office space. The duplex building features a reception area and meeting room on the first floor, and the office on the second floor, with a high ceiling preserved in some areas to emulate spaciousness and offer a stress-free space.

The office area on the second floor features exposed sprinkler pipes and air ducts covered with bright blue paint, while the flooring and cabinets are in warm wood tones to warm up the cold space. The balance of tension in the design is embodied through the combination of different materials.

In December 2021, Ping Chun Hsu's "About Dimension" completed this project in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
