An avant-garde production, "Amore," unites love, emotions, and Eastern elements in a diverse Western classical music and performing art program, debuting at the National Taiwan Concert Hall.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chia-Hui Lu's "Amore" is a groundbreaking production that blends Western classical music with multimedia technology, abstract moving art, and intense piano repertoires. The performance, featuring 3D animation techniques catalyzing Paul Chiang's paintings to life, promises a banquet for the senses.
The production features a captivating repertoire, including Chopin's Ballades, Listz's Liebestraume, Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Julie, and Chia-Hui Lu's original compositions. The live performance on a Steinway Piano at the National Taiwan Concert Hall will be accompanied by an animation film projected overhead, created using Maya and After Effects.
The one-hour-twelve-minute film was edited and exhibited at Art Taipei in October 2019, with the latest edition revised in April 2021. "Amore" aims to achieve a mutual interdependence Yin-Yang balance, intertwining and interacting with the emotional and compositional evolutions reflected and echoed in the artistic animation to enable a harmonious flow.
