Italian Minimalist Villa Design

Feng Yang's Italian Minimalist Villa design in Beijing, China, embodies the elements of Japanese architecture and Wabi sabi, creating a space that seamlessly integrates with nature. The villa, set to begin construction in July 2020, features a four-floor layout adorned with wood and copper materials, creating a sense of high-class simplicity.

The design incorporates natural textures, enhanced natural lighting, and light colors to contrast with the surrounding greenery, fostering a bright, comfortable, and tranquil environment. The use of diverse floor materials, including grey matte marbles and wooden floors, creates distinct atmospheres throughout the villa.

The project's innovative space window utilizes diamond-shaped glass with a fluctuated water surface effect to reduce light pollution and bring in daylight, presenting a sparkling effect during the day and glowing at night in an energy-efficient manner.

The villa's spaces are thoughtfully designed to accommodate different users, with each floor tailored to specific needs. The master bedroom exudes a steady and imposing style, while the daughter's bedroom incorporates gentle maiden temperament through pink and grey colors. Furniture is strategically placed to highlight the comfort and warmth of the home.

Yang's design overcomes the challenges of the original loosely structured space by implementing a semi-open pattern to separate functional areas while maintaining coherence. Delicate scenes with copper accents and ornamental green plants serve as visual focal points, enhancing privacy and visual appeal.

The project, covering approximately 1200 square meters, aims to achieve harmony and coziness, emphasizing the quality of materials used in the roof, wall, and flooring. Feng Yang's Italian Minimalist Villa design has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2021, celebrating its well-designed, practical, and innovative attributes that meet professional and industrial requirements.
